Over the coming weeks we will be uploading footage of Northern Irish comedy rockers Mental Deficiency from their previous Limelight gig. The historic event was captured by Kev McKeown and James Eoin on camera, and by Stephen Jackson on sound. The orderlies in attendance were James Truffles Dunbar and Tony Cromie the Number 1 Homie. The first uploaded song is entitled, “Automatic Law Enforcement Programming,” and tells the story of a cop who was brutally murdered. Through the power of capitalism he was brought back to life in cyborg form to carry out the bidding of his corporate masters. That was until he started to remember he pre-robot life…
